27mm only in falling lengths with end bung.
This type of wood was sold as such in the 70s when pitch pine became scarce, both types of wood look confusingly similar when freshly planed, only with time does the typical reddish veining of red pine become apparent and the difference to pitch pine, which tends towards brownish, becomes clearer. A beautiful solid floor with strong veining that turns reddish with time and enough light. This floorboard is also often treated with color because it gives a uniform overall appearance. Common methods are then with lime lye or colored floor oil. The surface treatment with white wood floor soap is also a method of brightening the floor and keeping it light in the long term.
