Oak Classic is an expressive wideplank. The hand-smoothed black knots and cracks give the plank its vintage style. The broad play of colors and the black knots reinforce the lively character of the floor. The brushed surface makes the individual grain of the wood visible and tangible, emphasizing its naturalness both visually and to the touch. The all-round mini bevel further emphasizes the plank character of the floor.
The planks are oiled naturally during production. The oxidative (also known as air-hardening) oil penetrates the wood pores and fills them, making the surface denser and protecting the wood from moisture penetration. With this type of surface treatment, the parquet helps to regulate the indoor climate as it can continue to absorb and release moisture from the air.
The patented Unilin Click system guarantees a force-fit connection and a joint-free installation result. All 3 layers of the planks are made from natural wood, the top layer from European oak, the middle layer and the backing from poplar or pine.
