Larch wood has a special charm. Its warm, honey-colored tone and striking grain emphasize the unique character of every room. Small black knots give this softwood an individual touch. As a solid wood plank, larch is suitable for use in all living areas.
Color honey-colored to red-brown in the core area, moderate sapwood content white yellowish
Characteristics Long-grained, high resin content, slightly chamfered all round, small black knots and dry cracks up to 2.5 mm wide are permitted, knot diameters of up to 1/5 of the plank width measured on the narrow side are permitted in the case of firmly knotted knots. Open resin galls, broken knots or knot holes are filled with putty or replaced with a knot plug

Wonderful wood! Thank you very much for the advice and good workmanship. We also think it's right not to use larch from Siberia here, as we have some of our own and there is also controlled forestry. We are completely satisfied :-)
