This special wood is not only very suitable for building and construction. As a floor covering, the Nobilis proves through its beauty and resilience that it is the highest quality of all fir species. As a solid wood plank, Nobilis, with its light whitish softwood - without heartwood coloration and resin channels - has a very noble overall character. The noble fir is preferably used in living areas.

Characteristics: slightly beveled all around, moderate knot content, firmly intergrown light brown knots up to 1/5 of the plank width measured on the narrow side, permitted. Dry cracks up to 2.5 mm wide permitted. Knot break-outs or through knots are filled or replaced with a knot plug
